Shevchenko on Grasso's defeat: "This will never happen again"

Valentina Shevchenko, the former UFC flyweight champion, spoke out about her loss in a duel with Alexa Grasso. "Bullet" noted that until the fourth round the fight went according to her plan, but then she made a mistake that cost her the title.

“She was in the position of a contender and had to do something crazy to get the win. It's obvious because I studied her previous fights, but it still happened. This will never happen again,” Shevchenko said.

Recall that the rematch between Grasso and Shevchenko will be held on September 16 as part of the UFC Fight Night 227 tournament.
