UFC Bantamweight Champion Aljamain Sterling drew a parallel between his upcoming fight against Shauna O'Malley and the duel between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“Khabib would not have achieved such fame without Conor. He was very popular in his country, but not in the USA. Here, he would never have become so famous without defeating McGregor.

I will fight O'Malley, who is trying to imitate McGregor, but he is not that good as a fighter. For me, this is an opportunity to spread the word. I want to take everything he has. To all the 14 year olds who love him for streaming on Twitch,” Sterling said on The MMA Hour.

Sterling vs. O'Malley will be the main event of UFC 292 on August 19 in Boston, USA.
