Even before the unification of the welterweight titles Errol Spence (28-1, 22 KOs) stated that this was his last performance in this weight limit. After being defeated by Terence Crawford Spence said that he plans to continue to compete in the light middleweight division, but boxing legends advise him to rise even higher.

Rumor has it that the former world champion between fights weighs about 85 kilograms. Therefore, Shane Moseley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. advise Errol to skip junior middleweight (69.85 kg) and go straight to middleweight, or even super middleweight.

“Errol can definitely fight better. He must move up to at least junior middleweight, if not straight to middleweight. In the end, he can go up to 190 pounds, which is too much. Let's see how he behaves in a heavier limit," Moseley said.

“If I were Errol's trainer, I would not advise him to compete in welterweight, or even super middleweight. I think he should be boxing at middleweight or even super middleweight now," Mayweather Jr. said.
