WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight title holder Oleksandr Usyk assured that he was not set up for an early victory in the fight against the WBA regular champion Daniel Dubois.
The Ukrainian boxer is convinced that if he charges for a knockout, he will lose the advantages necessary to win this fight.
“I never focus on knockout, only on boxing. But if he comes, I feel it and proceed from my experience. When a fighter is loaded to punch or when he throws powerful punches to knock out an opponent, he loses very important advantages. These are the advantages that ultimately bring victory, ”Usyk said in an interview with TNT Sports.
Recall that the Usyk-Dubois fight will take place on August 26 in Wroclaw, Poland.
