Amanda Nunes, two-division UFC champion, announced her retirement after today's victory over Irene Aldana.

"I did it! Double Champion Forever! Today, in case you guys didn't know, I tied Anderson Silva in the number of title defenses. So this is the perfect time to end your career and leave happy...,” said the Brazilian.

Nunes also addressed her compatriot fighters, urging them to pull themselves together and win the UFC championship belt, because she, the only Brazilian champion of the promotion, is retiring.
