This unusual pairing brings together Jake Paul, a social media star turned boxer, and Gervonta Davis, an elite lightweight boxer with an impressive 30-0-1 record and 28 knockouts.
Paul's recent boxing career has seen him secure a unanimous decision win against Julio César Chávez Jr. and participate in a high-profile exhibition match with Mike Tyson earlier this year. That event helped boost Netflix's global boxing presence.
Davis, known for his knockout power, was originally set for a rematch with Lamont Roach Jr., but those plans never materialized.
The exhibition format will likely include modifications such as catchweights, oversized gloves, or reduced rounds to account for the significant size difference between the fighters. Paul recently competed at nearly 200 pounds, while Davis typically fights at around 135 pounds.
