John Jones, former UFC light heavyweight champion, believes that Alex Volkanovski deserves to remain in the first line of the P4P rating even after losing to Islam Makhachev.

“I think Alex deserves to be number one pound-for-pound. The fight was very close, it's hard to say who won. I think that Alex is one of the most versatile fighters in the game, he was an active champion, ”said the fighter.

Recall that Volkanovski lost to Makhachev by unanimous decision. The fight took place in the light weight limit.
