Ukrainian heavyweight Viktor Vykhrist (11-1, 7 KOs) commented on his first loss to Cuban in his professional career Lennier Perot (9-0, 6 KOs), to whom he lost ahead of schedule in the eighth round of their fight last Saturday in San Antonio in the USA.
“After the sixth round, my ribs hurt, but I decided to continue the fight. The pain intensified and did not allow me to work at full strength. I understood that during the fight I was winning and controlling the fight, but after a missed punch in the eighth round, the pain became so unbearable that I could no longer move. I won on points, but the injury gave the victory to the opponent,” said Vykhryst.
