Bisping: If McGregor beats Chandler, he'll fight for title

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping spoke about the title ambitions of the star ex-title holder in two divisions Conor McGregor.

“If McGregor gets his way, will he fight for the title in the next fight? I have no doubts. I am 100% sure of this. Everyone should mentally prepare for this. Whatever your opinion of him, Conor is the biggest star in the sport. McGregor is a former two-weight champion and the man people want to see fight.

So if he comes out and beats Chandler, one of the best lightweights on the planet, and if he does it in a spectacular way, I won't have a problem if he fights for the title. I am very excited about Conor vs Michael,” Bisping was quoted as saying by MMA Junkie.

Recall that McGregor and Chandler will become the coaches of the TUF 31 show, after which they will fight in the welterweight division.
