Teixeira announces retirement after UFC 283 loss

Veteran mixed martial artist, former UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira has announced his retirement from fighting. This happened after Glover lost a unanimous decision to Jamaal Hill. Their confrontation took place as part of the main event of the 283rd UFC tournament, and the vacant title of the promotion's light heavyweight champion was at stake in this fight.

Recall that the professional record of the Brazilian veteran is 33-9. Glover won 28 fights ahead of schedule.
