Former Interim UFC Champion Dustin Poirier required hospitalization due to a staph infection in the left leg.
The other day, a 33-year-old American, currently ranked second in the lightweight division, posted a photo of a swollen leg on social networks and reported that he had contracted staphylococcus aureus. On Monday, Dustin wrote that he needed hospitalization to deal with a bacterial infection. The fighter called his illness "serious".
Recall that Poirier spent his last performance on November 12 at the UFC 281 tournament, knocking out Michael Chandler.
