Munguia wants Golovkin, WBO offers Alimkhanuly

WBO named Jaime Mungiu (41-0, 33 KOs) as a mandatory opponent for middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (13-0, 8 KOs).

The boxing team was given 15 days to agree on the terms of the championship fight. If the negotiations are not successful, the organizer of the fight will be selected by tender.

However, it is still unknown whether Munguia will decide to fight Alimkhanuly, because immediately after the Saturday fight with Gonzalo Coria, the Mexican said that he would like to fight Gennady Golovkin (42-2-1, 37 KOs).
