Former American Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder shared his expectations from the upcoming fight with his former sparring partner Finn Robert Helenius.

“I always want to get a good match. Robert had a winning streak and here he is. I heard that it should be mandatory for Usyk, but be that as it may, he will come to our fight with his game. All fighters do this when they fight me.

Robert, I think, is more confident now because he sparred with me for many years. So we kind of know each other. At the moment, we are trying to do something in the training camp that he has never seen before. I'm sure Helenius will also try to make adjustments and demonstrate something that will surprise me. What I really like about Robert is his warrior heart, which is the same as mine,” Wilder said.

Recall that earlier Deontay said that after defeating Helenius, he hopes to meet with the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk.

The duel between Wilder and Helenius will take place on October 15 in Brooklyn, USA.
