Brazilian veteran who recently announced his retirement from MMA Wanderlei Silva spoke about the desire to fight according to the rules of boxing with a compatriot Vitor Belfort.
“I would like to fight with one of the good boxers, former champions. It would be interesting. But I don't want to fight an old man like one of our friends did when he fought someone who is almost 70 years old.
I could have a boxing fight with Vitor Belfort. He has been running away from me for a long time. Perhaps now it will be possible to organize this fight. We would make a lot of noise with him,” Silva said on the Trocação Franca podcast.
It is worth noting that in his statement, Silva shamed precisely the 45-year-old Belfort, who last year knocked out the 59-year-old legendary boxer Evarder Holyfield in an exhibition fight.
