Cormier wants to see Chimaev in middleweight

Former UFC champion in two weight divisions Daniel Cormier spoke about future prospects Khamzat Chimaeva. DC stated that he would like to see Khamzat in the middleweight division.

“Chimaev drives at welterweight, everyone admires him in this division. But if Israel Adesanya beats Alex Pereira, he will basically clean up his division. Why shouldn't a new, fresh guy like Khamzat Chimaev be a good addition to this weight? Of course, he will be welcome there.”
