Joyce and Parker will cross gloves on September 24 in Manchester. The fight was also supposed to be an eliminator for the WBO heavyweight title. But the winner will receive a temporary World Boxing Organization belt. And if Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) chooses to team up with Tyson Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) instead of mandatory defense, the WBO can take the title away from him and give it to Joyce or Parker.

“I know that with good preparation I can beat anyone in the world. First I'll beat Joyce, but then I'll have to give him a rematch, so I'll beat him a second time as well. And then I will be free from this duty and will be able to fight with whomever I want. I just don't understand why he, not being a champion, demanded a rematch clause. I don't need such provisions in the contract. In my opinion, this indicates the weakness of Joyce and his doubts about his team. They know that they can lose to me, so they agreed on a rematch, ”said Parker, a former WBO champion with two successful defenses.
