Former World Heavyweight Champion Vladimir Klichko congratulated Ukrainians on Independence Day. He posted his video message on his official Twitter.

“Today is the Independence Day of Ukraine. Today we must celebrate, but instead we have to fight, because 6 months ago the imperialist force decided to attack us, take away our freedom and life, our right to exist," Klitschko said.

“Today I want to pay tribute to the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for this. Their incredible sacrifice reminds us that freedom doesn't come easy. Today, I also want to pay tribute to the free world that supports us. We couldn't fight without you! Thank you! I also want to pay tribute to the incredible courage and willpower of all Ukrainians, men and women, young and old. All Ukrainians are fighting for democracy, all Ukrainians are fighting for freedom. Rest assured, we are fighting for our independence and for the independence of the free world. So today, let it echo in Europe and throughout the free world, loud and clear: “We are all Ukrainians!” Glory to Ukraine!” Wladimir Klitschko said.
