Rashad Evans, former UFC light heavyweight champion, spoke about the upcoming fight between Khamzat Chimaev and Nate Diaz. Evans advised not to dismiss Nate ahead of time.
“When people think that Diaz has no chance, then you get the Nate you don’t expect. He still has a lot of skills, it's just that the simple one has taken its toll on him. If he can handle that aspect by incorporating specific training where he imitates what he's going to do, then he can step into the octagon and put on a great fight. It can change a lot,” Evans said.
Recall that the confrontation between Chimaev and Diaz will be held on September 10 as part of UFC 279.
