Robert Helenius (31-3, 20 KOs) believes that after two early wins over Adam Kownacki, he will bring an even bigger surprise and beat the former world champion Deontay Wilder (42-2-1, 41 KOs). Their duel will take place on October 15 in Brooklyn. At stake will be the status of a contender for the WBC heavyweight title.

“I need to be more aggressive, get him defensive and take his reactions and reflexes to a higher level than ever before. Endurance will also be very important. It will help me stay focused for all twelve rounds. Because with a guy like Wilder, you always have to be on your guard. It's going to be a tough night, but I believe I can beat him," said Northern Nightmare, who was Wilder's main sparring partner ahead of his third fight with Tyson Fury.

“We liked each other, but we have to put emotions aside and fight aggressively. A few years ago I found a second love for boxing and now I want to fulfill my dream and become a world champion,” Helenius added.

For Wilder, who has been on the WBC heavyweight throne for more than five years, this will be a comeback after two losses to Fury and loss of championship status.
