Former world champion Andre Ward sure that the new coach Anthony Joshua Robert Garcia should not drastically change the style of the British boxer ahead of his rematch with the holder of the WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles Oleksandr Usyk.

“Joshua’s physique and size will not change. This guy won an Olympic gold medal and became world heavyweight champion when he fought the way he fights. Now is not the time to change. It will be a refurbishment, a major overhaul. Too late for that.

As George Foreman and old heavyweight trainers said, you need to train and fight like a big guy. Joshua must find a way to use his size to his advantage. He should not fencing with Oleksandr Usyk. So he can’t win the fight, ”Ward said on the air of Max On Boxing.

Usyk's rematch with Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In September last year, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous decision of the judges and took away the championship titles from him.
