Thanks to the victory over Nonito Donaire, Naoya Inoue became the new leader of the P4P rating of The Ring magazine, ahead of Oleksandr Usyk.

Interestingly, Inoue had already defeated the Filipino, but the repeated triumph of the Japanese bantamweight boxer in the fight with the Philippine Lightning prompted the members of the Boxing Bible rating committee to award him the title of the best in the world, regardless of weight categories.

P4P Rating The Ring: 1. Naoya Inoue, 2. Alexander Usyk, 3. Terence Crawford, 4. Errol Spence Jr., 5. Juan Estrada, 6. Saul Alvarez, 7. Vasily Lomachenko, 8. Dmitry Bivol, 9. Josh Taylor, 10. Jermell Charlo.
