Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn proposes a third fight Saul Alvarez (57-2-2, 39 KOs) with Gennady Golovkin (42-1-1, 37 KOs), and then a rematch with Dmitry Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs). Most likely, Canelo will follow the proposals of the British promoter.

The Mexican noted that on September 17, he will have his third fight with GGG, the reigning IBF and WBA world middleweight champion, and then, if he wins, he will seek revenge with Bivol, the WBA light heavyweight champion, who defeated him in early May .

The fight with Golovkin should take place in super middleweight. Canelo still holds all the championship belts (IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC) in this weight class.

Canelo's fight against Golovkin III has not been officially announced, but the Mexican's statements on this matter seem unequivocal.

Canelo's first fight against Golovkin in September 2017 ended in a controversial draw. A year later, Canelo emerged victorious in a confrontation with a boxer from Kazakhstan, winning by a majority vote of the judges.
