“Jose Pedraza is a smart and experienced fighter,” Ramirez said after the fight. - He was able to find a way to survive in the ring and gave me a fight. Toward the end of the fight, he continued to box. I take my hat off to him and his team. He was well prepared. It was a great fight."
“I was a bit pinched before this fight because of my last fight. The fight was at my house, and I started to get a little nervous, more than I expected. But I entered the ring and just started boxing, with courage. I played smart, used my jab and I think I won over eight rounds."
“For super lightweight, I'm going to get back to the gym, work, stay focused and active. This is what has helped me for the last couple of years. I trained for such fights many times. My inactivity, my frustration during training camp, it really took a toll on me. I am ready to stay active and motivated. There are a lot of really good fighters at super lightweight,” Ramirez said after the fight.
