“The situation in Ukraine is not very good, so I try not to think about it. But it’s impossible not to think about it, because my family is there. I think, I worry, of course, but I try to distract myself, but it's very difficult. Now my family is in a bomb shelter. They sit at home, and when there is a bombing, they hide in basements,” Postol said.
“This is crazy, just crazy. Why it is needed, I don't understand at all. Why does Russia need Ukraine? We used to be friends, now we are at war. I can't really understand why it's needed. Now the main thing for me is to get to Ukraine, in any case I will defend Ukraine and, first of all, my family. I will protect where I live,” Postol said.
