Former UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov admitted that if he had the opportunity to choose any opponent for himself, then it would be the legendary Canadian George St. Pierre.

“I know this will never happen, but if I had a chance to fight any fighter, it would be GSP.

When I was at the top, George was no longer at his peak. In 2013, he took a break from his career, then only four years later he returned and had a fight with Michael Bisping. Almost ten years have passed - I think his time has come to an end.

I believe that George's peak was in 2010-2011. In 2012 and 2013 it was no longer his time - remember when he fought Johny Hendrix? I think then he no longer liked being in the octagon, he was no longer hungry. I don’t know about his feelings, but I think so, ”Khabib said on Full Send Podcast.
