Jake Paul's got people talking again. The YouTuber-turned-boxer made waves by comparing himself to Muhammad Ali and recreating an iconic photo of the boxing legend.

Paul posted a picture on X (formerly Twitter) that mimicked Ali's famous 1963 Sports Illustrated photo. In the original, Ali sat on a pile of banknotes, symbolizing his dominance in boxing. Paul's recreation came with the caption "Welcome to my era," just before his November 14 exhibition match against Gervonta Davis.

This isn't the first time Paul's made bold statements about his place in boxing history. In a DAZN interview before his fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, he said:

"I'm the best thing that's happened to boxing since Muhammad Ali."

That comment didn't go over well with most boxing fans. People generally had more negative opinions than positive about Paul's audacious comparison.

Paul's known for stirring up controversy and grabbing attention. He's built a following by being outspoken and making audacious claims. While some find his approach refreshing, others see it as disrespectful to boxing's history and legends.

The recreation of Ali's photo is Paul's latest attempt to assert his dominance in the sport. He wants to make it clear he believes his era in boxing has begun.

Whether you love him or hate him, Jake Paul's got people talking about boxing. His upcoming fight against Gervonta Davis on November 14 will give him a chance to back up his big words in the ring.
