UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou once again made it clear that he is absolutely confident in his victory by knockout in the upcoming fight against the holder of the interim belt Ciryl Gane.
In one of his recent interviews, Gane praised Ngannou, noting that his former teammate has become a more versatile fighter. The undefeated Frenchman believes that these improvements should help the champion in their confrontation, hinting that the fight will drag on.
“Probably, this is a forecast for the fight, since he has nothing else to do. Not that I think that Gan will jump on the octagon and wait for the decision of the judges, but I expect that he will try to drag me into deep waters. This may be the only prediction, but it goes against my personal prediction: I will knock him out,” the Cameroonian said in an interview with BT Sport.
The fight of Ngannou and Gane will take place on January 22 at UFC 270 in Anaheim.
