In the main duel of the evening from PBC in Hollywood Luis Ortiz (33-2, 28 KOs) dafeated Charles Martin (28-2-1, 25 KOs) by TKO in the sixth round. The fight had the status of IBF heavyweight eliminator.

The fight started unexpectedly, because in the first round, the favorite Ortiz found himself on the floor after Martin's excellent counterattack with his left hand. The Cuban took control of the situation in the second round, but the next three minutes again belonged to "Prince" Charles, who in the fourth round sent the 42-year-old opponent back to the ring floor with a right hand.

It seemed like Martin was on his way to a confident victory, but in the sixth round the situation suddenly changed when Ortiz practically sent Martin to a standing knockout with a powerful straight left. The former IBF champion was allowed to come to his senses, as his hand got tangled between the ropes, but the experienced "King Kong" did not let go of the opponent and "finished off" the confused opponent with a series of blows, after which the referee stopped the fight.
