Ramirez stops Gonzalez in 10

In the WBA eliminator light heavyweight undefeated Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramírez (43-0, 29 KOs) stopped in the tenth round Yunieski "Monster" Gonzalez (21-4, 17 KOs) in the main event of the evening at the AT&T arena in San Antonio, Texas.

The first four rounds of the fight took place in an interesting and intense battle. Gonzalez missed a lot of punches, but continued to attack. Over the course of several rounds, Zurdo began to retreat and box from the distance, but then in the tenth round he went forward again and got the referee stoppage at 1:23.
