Inoue successfully defended WBA and IBF belts

The main bout of the night of boxing in Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday Naoya Inoue (22-0, 19 KOs) defended his WBA and IBF bantamweight belts by defeating Aran Deepaen (12-3, 11 KOs) by TKO in the eighth round. The time for stopping the fight is 2:34.

As part of the same evening, Masataka Taniguchi (15-3, 10 KOs) stopped Wilfredo Mendes (16-2, 6 KOs) in the eleventh round, winning the WBO title in minimum weight (up to 47.6 kg). The time for stopping the fight is 1:08.
