WBA, WBC and WBO world champion and P4P leader Saul Alvarez (56-1-2, 38 KOs) and IBF champion Caleb Plante (21-0, 12 KOs) settled into the super middleweight limit ahead of tomorrow's unification fight in Las Vegas on Showtime pay-per-view.
The Mexican posted a 76.2 kg on the scales, while the American was 75.7 kg.
Canelo has fought twice this year. First, he stopped WBC mandatory challenger Avni Yildrim early in February and then also broke WBO champion Billy Joe Saunders early in May.
Plante has only fought once this year, winning on points against former world champion Caleb Truex in January.
"I don't need to say anything else. Plante will see something different tomorrow than what he's seen in the ring before. Every action triggers a reaction. I'm as focused and motivated as possible," said Alvarez, whose relationship with Plante before the fight has long been very strained.
"I was born for moments like this. Watch the fight. You'll see everything in it. I like the whole world against me," Plante stated after the weigh-in.
