"I have long believed that after Khabib's departure Makhachev is the strongest lightweight. He just has to go a certain way in the logic of the UFC, in the rankings, and it's been a very serious jump up. I think he'll have one more fight before the title fight. But if he gets a title fight right away, no one will be surprised anymore. But I think there will be one more fight, I think so," Gadzhiev said.
