Huey Fury (25-3, 14 KOs) was lighter than Cristian Hammer (26-7, 16 KOs) at the official weigh-in ceremony in Newcastle. The Englishman weighed 111.1 kg while the Romanian with the German passport weighed 117 kg. For the Briton it will be his first appearance since last year's fight with Mariusz Wach.
