Klitschko's former coach convinces that Joshua vs Usyk fight was fixed

Sergey Gorodnichev, a former member of Wladimir Klitschko's coaching staff, expressed the opinion that the fight of Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk was fixed.

"We all saw what Usyk is capable of and how Joshua shit himself. Unfortunately, I didn't like the fight in terms of Joshua not doing anything. It felt like we were being played out. We're like clowns, they're looking down on us like we're in a circus. There's obviously some kind of deal going on. I'll tell you why I think that.

"Joshua has a $100 million contract with the Arabs for about three fights. They set up a fight with Usyk and got him a new blood in the Heavyweight division.

"In order for Joshua to close his contract with the Arabs, he needs to close three fights. Let's see: first fight he loses, second fight he wins and maybe they can make a third fight. Here they took such a story and tricked us like suckers," Gorodnichev said on his YouTube channel.

On September 25 in London Usyk defeated Joshua by unanimous decision and won WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles.
