Khabib gives prediction for Makhachev-Hooker fight

Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov commented on his friend Islam Makhachev's upcoming fight against Dan Hooker.

"The fight against Hooker will be a great challenge for Islam. Dan is ranked sixth in the lightweight division, but I believe he has never fought an opponent of Islam's level. All of his former opponents have been exclusively punchers.

I don't know what he'll do with control, pressure and Islam's dominance in the parterre. He's only got a chance for a lackey-punch. "If that doesn't happen - 99% that Islam will stop him," Nurmagomedov said in an interview with the Islam Channel YouTube channel.

Makhachev-Hooker fight will take place on October 30 at UFC 267 in Abu Dhabi.
