"I am in my best physical period. I have no injuries that make my day-to-day work difficult and I can only focus on training," said the athlete, who is considered by many experts to be the best boxer in the world regardless of weight classes.
The Mexican in his career has won championship belts in the first middleweight, middleweight, super-middleweight and light heavyweight divisions. The boxer doesn't rule out that in the future he'll decide to try his hand at featherweight as well.
Alvarez will return on November 6 in Las Vegas, where his opponent will be Caleb Plant. The IBF, WBA, WBO and WBC belts in the 76-pound weight class will be stakes in the bout.
