MMA veteran Alistair Overeem spoke about why he was fired from the UFC.
"I'm professional and realistic. That's what the UFC can do if you lose. It's a condition of their contract, so they can release you from your current agreement. I loved it in the UFC, but it was their right. Maybe it's time to make room for a new generation. Don't forget - I'm 41 years old and I'm not getting any younger. If it was up to me, I would have wanted to end my career in the UFC, but it wasn't my decision," the fighter stated.
