Olympic champion Evgeny Tishchenko (8-1, 6 KOs) and Dmitry "Russian Sledgehammer" Kudryashov (24-4, 23 KOs) were officially weighed in before their fight for the WBC International Heavyweight title which will take place on September 11 in Ekaterinburg as part of the RCC Boxing Promotions boxing evening. Tishchenko weighted 90.65 kg, Kudryashov weighted 90.7 kg.
Also that evening there will be an interesting fight between former title contenders Zaur Abdullayev (13-1, 8 KOs) and Dejan Zlatichanin (24-2, 16 KOs) from Montenegro. At stake in the meeting will be the WBC silver lightweight championship belt. Abdullayev has shown at 61.2 kg on the scales, with Zlatichanin at 61 kg. For Zlatichanin it will be the first fight after a downtime of almost two years.
