Khabib: "It would be great if Makhachev would finish Dos Anjos"

Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov shared his expectations for his friend and sparring partner Islam Makhachev fight against Rafael Dos Anjos.

"Dos Anjos is very experienced. He's fought five rounds a lot of times. He fought me, Covington, Alvarez. He has a lot of experience. In big fights like this, experience is a trump card in your pocket.

"The way I see the fight, I would like Islam to beat him from the first round, to give him a wrestling pressure. And it would be awesome if Islam would finish him in parterre, because I don't remember him being beaten like that," Nurmagomedov said.

The fight of Makhachev and Dos Anjos will take place on October 30 at UFC 267.
