TV commentator Dmitry Guberniev has responded to former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov who has spoken out against ring girls in MMA.
"I think, on the contrary, bikinis are great, wonderful. It's eye-catching, I love looking at ring-girls, and I think a huge number of men love it too, and women love it, then they strive, exercise, HGH, to be like the girls who show their great athletic figures. I don't think it's about respect for women or men, it's just such a good old-fashioned tradition. From my point of view, ring-girls only popularize sports. But if we're talking, let's say, about mixed martial arts - can you beat a lying man? It is possible, and why women cannot be in bikinis, but beating lying person is somehow strange, from my point of view. I respect Khabib's opinion, including the opinion of others, but I have my own opinion. We do not have to agree with each other, even though we have mutual respect.
