On December 11 in New York, Tony Yoka (10-0, 8 KOs) will have his first professional fight in front of the American public. The main event of this evening will be a duel with the participation of the former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko.
Prior to this, EU heavyweight champion Yoka is planning one more fight. On September 10, at an event organized at the tennis stadium in Paris, he will face Petar Milas (16-0, 11 KOs). The fight was originally scheduled for December, but the Frenchman injured his right arm during his November victory over Christian Hammer.
Yoka, 29, was signed to Top Rank early last year and was scheduled to begin performing in US rings in March. The outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic has thwarted these plans, but Bob Arum wants the Frenchman to perform regularly in the US next year.
