David Haye (28-4, 26 KO) was a world champion in the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions. He had a brilliant career, but he regrets not having fought a particular opponent. The Brit lost his WBA heavyweight title in a unification match against Wladimir Klitschko. It is the fight with Klitschko that he regrets the most, but not with Vladimir, but with his older brother Vitali (45-2, 41 KO).

“I always wanted to fight Vitali Klitschko because I liked his style. I fought his brother Vladimir, but he always focused on defense. Vitali, on the other hand, sought exchanges and open fights,” declared Haye.

“The difference between them was that Vladimir wanted to safely outpoint me, while if I met Vitali, he would want to knock me out and give me a chance to do the same. That’s why I always wanted and preferred to lace up the gloves with the older brother,” added Hayemaker.
