The manager of the former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov Ali Abdel-Aziz spoke about the possibility of rematch between his fighter and Conor McGregor.

“Conor is no longer an elite fighter. He fell in love with drugs again. He needs to undergo rehabilitation and take care of his life. He shouldn't fight anymore,” Abdel-Aziz said in an interview with ESNews.

Nurmagomedov retired last October after defeating Justin Gaethje. McGregor lost by technical knockout to Dustin Poirier on July 11, having suffered a broken leg in the first round.

In October 2018 Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor by submission in the fourth round.
