Povetkin on whom he will support in Joshua vs Usyk fight

Former world heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin said that in the fight of Anthony Joshua and  Alexander Usyk, his sympathies will be on the side of the Ukrainian.

Joshua vs. Usyk fight is expected to take place on September 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Arena in London.

“My greetings to Usyk. He's a good guy, a good boxer. Greetings to all guys from Ukraine, all Slavs. I will watch his fight against Joshua, I will root for Usyk, of course. I don't know who will win, but I will hope that Usyk will win,” Povetkin said during a live broadcast on Instagram.

On June 13 Povetkin announced his retirement.
