Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced that fans probably won't see him in the ring again, even in show fights. On Sunday in Miami, the former world champion in five weight classes had an exhibition 8-round duel with the blogger Logan Paul.
“Will I return to boxing for an official fight? Definitely not. I ended my sporting career long ago. Will I be holding exhibition fights? Most likely not,” the American said.
“I can no longer fight like a 19 year old. I'm getting old, and that's natural. I don't have to fight to live a relaxed life,” Mayweather said.
The fight with Logan Paul ended without an official verdict. The fight went the entire distance, only a knockout could determine the winner. According to unofficial data, Mayweather earned $10 million for this performance. Also, the former boxer can count on half of the profits from the sale of PPVs.
