Manny Pacquiao and Rolly Romero might face off in a welterweight title fight. The boxing world keeps talking about this possible match-up between the veteran and the current champion.

Pacquiao, now 46, showed he's still got it in his recent return to the ring. He challenged Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title in Las Vegas. The fight ended in a majority draw, with scorecards reading 115-113 for Barrios and two 114-114 ties. It was a sensational comeback that proved Pacquiao can still hang with the top welterweights.

On the other side, Rolly Romero pulled off a big upset in May. He beat Ryan Garcia in Times Square, New York, grabbing the WBA Regular welterweight title. Romero's stock went up even more when Jaron Ennis moved to 154lbs and vacated his titles. The WBA upgraded Romero from Regular to official champion.

Romero's not shy about wanting to fight Pacquiao. But he's not the only one - Ryan Garcia, fresh off his loss to Romero, also wants a piece of the Filipino legend.

Top trainer Robert Garcia thinks Pacquiao's still got what it takes. In an interview, he said:

"He'll probably beat Rolly. Rolly is strong but he'll probably beat him."

The welterweight division's shaken up a bit with Ennis moving up in weight. It's opened the door for new matchups, and Pacquiao vs Romero could be one of the big ones. We'll have to wait and see if this fight moves from talk to reality.
