Former heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin said that if he still decides to continue his career, he would like to have a third fight with Dillian Whyte.

“I will now observe my health once again, so it is difficult to talk about my professional future. We'll see. I haven’t made a final decision. I lost to Whyte because I was probably weaker at the moment. That's all. And so Whyte was better, he won. If I box, then I will try to defeat him. Would I like to meet him for the third time if I continue my career? Of course. This is 100%. I would be glad if it worked out,” Povetkin said.

Povetkin lost to Whyte in a rematch on March 27 and lost his interim WBC heavyweight belt. The first meeting took place in August last year and ended with the victory of the Russian by knockout.
