Haney to get 3 million for Linares fight

WBC lightweight champion Devin Haney (25-0, 15 KOs) will receive $3 million for a fight with the former world champion in three weight divisions Jorge Linares (47-5, 29 KOs). The fight is scheduled for May 15th at the Matchroom Boxing event in the USA.

Haney, 22, quickly became one of the highest paid boxers in Eddie Hearn's stable. The undefeated American earned $2 million for his November duel with Yuriorkis Gamba.

The May fight of Haney and Linares has not yet been officially confirmed, but all the conditions for the fight have already been agreed. For the Venezuelan, this will be a return to the ring after a one-year break. This event will be shown on the DAZN platform.
