Povetkin vs Whyte may take place outside the UK

Eddie Hearn would like to have a rematch on March 6 of Alexander Povetkin (36-2-1, 25 KOs) and Dillian White (27-2, 18 KOs) with audience. The head of Matchroom Boxing is looking for a place outside the UK to host the interim WBC heavyweight title fight.

The British promoter said he is considering options for Gibraltar, Monaco or the Middle East. Hearn does not rule out that the guests of this evening will be at the tables, and they will all undergo coronavirus tests. In the UK, the event will be streamed via Pay-Per-View.

The first fight of Povetkin and Whyte took place in August. The Russian knocked out the Englishman, despite the fact that he had been on the floor twice in the round before.
