In Saturday night's Las Vegas main event Terence Crawford (37-0, 28 KOs) defeated Kell Brook (39-3, 27 KOs) by TKO in the fourth round and defended his WBO world welterweight title.

At first, everything was not going very well for the champion, but in the fourth round the American successfully counterattacked his opponent with a right straight, and Brook received a standing count (the ropes saved him from falling). Seconds later, when Crawford caught up Brook in a series of punches after the fight resumed, referee Tony Weeks stopped the bout.

In an interview after the evening, Terence Crawford's promoter Bob Arum said he was working on a cash bout for his boxer with Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39 KOs) that could happen in the Middle East. The Top Rank head also mentioned the possibility of a PPV co-operation with the Premier Boxing Champions and a title fight with WBC and IBF belt holder Errol Spence Jr. (26-0, 21 KOs).
